The Gran Premio de Catalunya de Moto GP, is considered as one of the best permanent circuits in the world and a high level infrastructure prepared to host major events thanks to the quality of its services and the versatility of its facilities.
Located in Montmeló, a few kilometers from Barcelona, the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya was opened on 10 September 1991, becoming since then and uninterruptedly the venue of the two most prestigious motor world championships.
